We invite papers for oral presentation (20 minutes + 10 minutes discussion) or poster presentation in German or English. Since abstracts are submitted to blind review, please omit any author-specific information. Author names, affiliation, and contact information can be added in the finalized version.

Empirical projects of any area of linguistics can be presented (theoretical and descriptive linguistics as well as psycho-, neuro-, sociolinguistics and computer linguistics; synchronic or diachronic). Instead of content-related discussions, the STaPs conference is strongly problem- and methodology-oriented: Neither finished research projects nor preliminary research results should be presented.

Abstracts should clearly state the research questions, with a special focus on a problem- and methodology-oriented approach, and should not exceed 500 words (excluding references). Abstracts should be formatted according to the Unified Style Sheet of Linguistics.
